Currently preparing for the big move to Thailand where I will be following my dreams to teach English abroad.

It's pretty normal to be with a none-English speaker in Thailand. Not much of the populations will speak English - I think you know what I mean! But I hope you'll get use to those frustrations because most of them speak Thai-English which is difficult to understand :)

I know it is perfectly normal and I fully respect that being in a country where the native language isn’t English that I should make an effort in learning Thai at least so I can get by without seeming arrogant. I have been in situations where no one speaks English and it can be difficult and challenging but it just gives me more determination to learn more Thai! I think I have come a long way since I first arrived here over a month ago. I am much more confident speaking it. The Thai people always smile at me when I attempt to speak Thai at me and that’s enough to know that I am trying. I respect anyone who speak English and is a non-native English speaker! So I hope people will respect me for the little bit of Thai I know and that I am learning.
